This was our last race as a full team for the season.Unfortunately, some werenít able to run due to sickness or injury. In the boys race, Ben Mossman commandingly won finishing in a time of 11:28.We also had Sebastian and David Calderon back with us to run outstanding races finishing 2nd and 3rd for the Lynx to finish the top twenty in the conference.Tristan Graham, Ryan Heinrichs, Guillermo Tejeda Perez, and Jacob Perin were close behind their teammates finishing in the top thirty. The entire boys team represented the Lynx very well at conference. The girls team also ran well with three runners placing in the top twenty which were Lynne Chalfant, Carly Huber, and Kenady Highland.Megan Hughes also ran a good race for the season placing 23rd overall.Carrie Gerdes and Faith McClain also ran fine races finishing 32nd and 33rd.The girls have improved greatly throughout the season.I really canít say enough good things about these young athletes. They have all worked very hard to improve throughout the season and have significantly improved their times. It was a pleasure working with these athletes.I also want to thank all of the parents for their support as well.Itís been a great season.
