This is by far the largest meet of the year that the middle school boys and girls team participates in with a little under 200 runners in each race as well as being the first meet of the year.  This was also the first middle school cross country race ever for twenty-six out of the thirty-three runners.  In the boys’ race, Ben Mossman ran exceptionally well placing 5th overall.  David and Sebastian Calderon also did well running 2nd and 3rd for the Lynx and placing 40th and 52nd overall.  Guillermo Tejeda Perez and Jacob Perin rounded out the top five Lynx runners placing 60th and 67th.  In the girls’ race, Megan Hughes was the top runner for the Lynx placing 51st overall.  Lynne Chalfant, Morgan Shannon, Sarah Paukert, and Carly Huber ran close together to finish out the top five for the Lynx.  As an entire squad, I look forward to watching us improve throughout the season.
