COACH BUSSANíS COMMENTS:Our goal was to make some individual improvements and compete well as we try to set ourselves for the final half of the season. The girls gave a good effort.Paige Bonjour continues to run well.Sarah Perin was much improved.Caitlyn Finucan showed some signs of moving forward.Alicia Long and Bailey Bergman continue to have strong seasons.Breanne Wagner competed, despite a painful leg injury. We will most likely have to rest her just as we did #1 runner Mikaela Pruismann. They will have to be healthy for us to move forward as a squad. For the J.V., Kelsey Griffith had a strong race.

COACH BUSSANíS COMMENTS:It was another great day for the boys.4A powerhouse Urbandale dominated the meet. Our goal was to defeat #10 ranked Spencer. We achieved that goal.Ben Lambert had another strong performance.Matt Severe is rounding into shape as a solid #2 runner and consistent medal threat.Alex Lamp and Mason Powers once again formed a tight pack with Matt.Mason Hedeen deserves great credit for hanging in as our #5 despite being out of school much of the week with the flu.Colin Ryan had another solid race.Austin Elm battled through a tough day.For the J.V., we showed great depth. In particular, Cody Crouch and Francois Tariel had their best races to date and have earned strong varsity consideration. We will now take a week away from competition to prepare for our next meet at Algona a week from Monday.
