COACH BUSSAN’S COMMENTS:
3rd place in the meet was an excellent finish. I felt one of the highlights of the meet was
breakthrough performances from Matt Severe and, in particular, Alex Lamp. Alex cut nearly a minute off of his time from
Ballard on a course that our top runners ran 15-20 seconds slower on. Matt equaled his time from Ballard and
together, their efforts made us a more effective scoring team. Spencer (currently ranked 4th in
3A) won the meet but was only 12 points ahead of us. We finished well in front

Our top 3 remain very solid.
Jewel Nuehring stepped forward as a scoring
runner for us and we had a very tight pack overall. Caitlyn Finucan
continues to do a great job consistently finishing as our #4 runner. As a team, we knew that 4A #5 ranked
