COACH BUSSAN’S COMMENTS:
This was far and away the toughest field we have faced and probably will
face prior to district and hopefully state.
We ran an okay race but I would have liked to have seen us step up a bit
more aggressively to this level of competition.
We had broader gaps in our scoring runners than I would like to
see. We will now have a week to work on
it prior to our meet at Algona. The meet
featured class 4A #4 and #11 ranked Urbandale and Marshalltown along with 3A
#4, #8 and #10 ranked Harlan, Spencer and Denison. As such, a close 6th place finish
behind Spencer and
